It has personal meaning to me because I was at that show, and my friends and I were the ‘familiar faces’ that he thanked for doing so many shows, and for camping out. He kept looking at us on the barrier while he was talking, and good Lord, it was emotional.
“You guys wait for us, camp out for us… I mean this, we would camp out to play a fucking show.”
^ That, right there, is my personal favourite quote, because it shows that he gets it. The passion and dedication is mutual.
